This concept shows a through-cut top piece and backing. The offered EVA grade, layers and attachment are confirmed for the project.
Give the top and backing separate identities
The original Evazote grade information identifies a closed-cell copolymer block-foam grade and compression-related fields. It demonstrates the need for an actual grade reference; its typical values are guidance for that grade, not Packrivo holder specifications.
Ask for the offered top-layer cavity outline and backing/attachment BOM, including the proposed cutting and joining method. Mark whether a separate backing or another agreed support completes the cavity. These are project-specific supplier proposals.
Supply the finished product, primary wrap and intended contact restrictions. Identify which surface approaches the exposed cut wall during insertion and lift. Keep the finger recess on the top-layer drawing so its position can be reviewed alongside the product grip.
Compare the through-cut interface with a depth-cut bed
The contour-cut PU bed retains material beneath a depth-cut pocket. This EVA configuration instead exposes a through-cut wall above a separately identified backing. Hold the product arrangement constant while comparing the layer, contact and removal questions.
Load the actual product, check its seating on the backing and review the lift through the intended recess. Inspect the cut-wall contact and any movement between the offered layers. Retain the grade and sample identity with the agreed observation method.
If the converter changes the backing, attachment or recess, record the affected component and drawing revision. A proposed grade change should remain a separate field so the buyer can distinguish material identity from a changed cavity geometry.
Use a cut-layer and backing table
The hypothetical jewelry-holder entries below make the separate components visible.
| Interface | Example brief input | Next evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Top layer T1 | Through-cut cavity and proposed thickness | Actual outline/section |
| Backing B1 | Separate component and attachment proposal | Layer BOM and seated product |
| Cut edge E1 | Finished product/contact restriction | Located insertion/removal observation |
| Finger recess G1 | Proposed grip beside the cavity | Actual product lift route |
| Grade F1 | Supplier grade and technical reference | Material/compression proposal kept separate |
Keep layer changes in the review record
The foam converter confirms the offered top, backing and attachment construction. The buyer supplies the actual finish restrictions. The packing observer returns the loaded and removal states, and the buyer decides whether another cavity or layer proposal is needed.
Use the die-cut insert option and the inserts hub for the broader holder comparison. The insert-material guide keeps actual grade questions visible without turning them into a protection guarantee.
