This is an inquiry concept for a dry gift use. The supplier must confirm material, base joints and any closure or handle proposal for the actual project.
Show the base opening action
The SOS bag catalogue expands the name as self opening square. Use that identity to request the actual base-fold drawing and setup demonstration. The catalog’s food or environmental language is not adopted for your gift pack.
Photograph the flat supplied bag, the base while opening and the final empty position. Record any extra action needed to spread or seat the base. Keep it visible in the instruction rather than calling all stages automatic.
Ask which base joints arrive completed and what the operator should inspect. A closed bottom viewed from outside can hide the fold relationship on the inside.
Load the complete gift envelope
Provide the gift’s maximum packed outline, actual weight and intended orientation. Include a box, tissue, card or other added component. A loose product measurement doesn’t define the bag’s filled form.
For a hypothetical small gift box, open the bag fully before inserting the box. Keep its front orientation fixed and observe the entry at the mouth, descent into the bag and final position on the base.
State whether the bag remains open, folds at the top or uses another confirmed closing proposal. The loaded height should include the components near that closing area. Handle requirements are a separate feature to specify, not an assumed part of every SOS bag.
Use a flat-to-loaded state record
Keep the supplied bag and gift configuration at one revision for the sequence. Each row needs a useful view.

Review artwork in the formed states
Choose the main visible face and check it with the base opened and the gift loaded. Side-folded print areas can have a different view after opening. The artwork file should use the supplier-confirmed bag layout.
For the hypothetical box, identify its front face and the corresponding bag panel. If the box must rotate during loading, record that action and check the resulting presentation. An attractive loaded photo should not conceal a changed entry route.
Keep any carrying or handling requirement tied to the complete pack and a separately agreed evaluation. A locally opened base or short handoff observation does not establish a weight rating.
