This is a packaging concept for a dry, nonfood gift container. The offered metal edge and closure drawing are confirmed for the project.
Identify the two-piece lid mechanism
The original two-piece metal-container reference distinguishes slip-lid tins from another opening mechanism. Ask for the actual offered lid skirt and rim detail. A round outside shape does not show their engagement, overlap or customer grip.
Provide the finished product and holder envelope, including any card above the gift. Record the headroom beneath the seated lid and the surfaces permitted to contact its edge. Keep these fields tied to the offered metal and finish proposal.
Show both separated parts on the drawing as well as the closed assembly. Mark where staff place the lid during packing and where the customer grips it during removal. The two actions may expose different contact or access questions.
Review engagement and lift with the contents present
Seat the proposed lid on the loaded body using the intended method. Remove it through the agreed grip and observe the holder and product. Record any lifting of a card, displaced insert or contact at the rim before changing the contents arrangement.
Compare the hinged metal gift container if an attached lid is preferred. Its hinge sweep creates a different open state. Compare the existing cardboard tube option when a paper body/lid relationship is also being considered; ask for each offered construction rather than ranking by material name.
Keep observed opening effort with its method and sample identity. A buyer may request another grip or engagement proposal, but should not turn one observation into a universal tolerance or seal claim. The relevant next response identifies the actual rim, lid or holder change.
Use a rim-engagement and removal record
This hypothetical jewelry-gift plan names the parts and leaves dimensions to the supplier proposal.
| Closure interface | Example brief detail | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|
| Lid L1 | Skirt and offered overlap at body rim | Matched lid/body section |
| Body R1 | Offered edge detail and closed relationship | Seated lid view |
| Headroom | Actual holder, gift and care card | Loaded clearance observation |
| Grip G1 | Intended customer lifting point | Actual lid-removal route |
| Contents movement | Any holder/card movement during lift | Located observation and next revision |
Keep the lid and holder as one configuration
The container supplier should return the matched lid/body drawing. The holder converter should confirm its height and seating relative to that closure. The packing owner should return complete closed and reopened views. The buyer then decides whether the proposed grip and contents arrangement are ready for the next sample or need a specific change.
Use the dimensions and review-method guide for naming rim or headroom features. Send the closure section, complete gift envelope and removal question through Get a Quote. MOQ is 500 pieces per design; material, samples and commercial details are confirmed for the project.
